The 5.6L in the Titan is a beast of and engine with plenty of torque for towing and hauling, and a pleasure to drive.
The Xterra is a bold and rugged SUV ready for any adventure! The Xterra debuted in 2000 and took the market by storm! At that time it came with the 3.0L v6 and was a little under powered. Nissan eventually came out with a 3.3L Supercharged engine and it was an improvement in power, yet reliability suffered. Nissan finally put the 4.0L v6 in the Xterra and solved all their problems. When looking at Xterra, I highly recommend going the 4.0L model. Good power and very reliable engine!
Nissan also has a great selection of sedans that compete well with Honda and Toyota. The Nissan 2.5L 4 cylinder is a very versatile engine, installed in many models. The 2.5l is a reliable engine and if well cared for can easily top the 200,000 mile mark. Nissan's 3.5L v6 is an award winning engine. Power of many v8 engines, decent fuel economy and probably the most reliable engine Nissan has ever built. The 3.5L can be found in certain years of the Maxima, Altima, Frontier, Pathfinder and of course, the 350 and 370Z cars.
The Sentra is a direct competitor to the Corolla and Civic, Altima to the Camry and Accord, and the Maxima is a four sports car all in it's own class.
